To support companies that don't have all their employees' emails and to create a better user experience for employees who use email only occasionally, we have added the ability to sign users up via their phone number. We believe this will make using &frankly even smoother, simplify onboarding and offer a better user experience.
This means users can now also login with their phone number instead of an email. If the phone number option is chosen, intro emails and password confirmations are sent as an SMS message. Question notifications will also be delivered via SMS.
The feature can be enabled in the account settings after a feature flag is toggled on.
